About La Vallée Dating back to the 15th Century and steeped in history, the Manoir, Gites, Lake, and Woodland originally belonged to the Chateau owned by Olivier de la Motte, Lord of Plumaudan.
As you enter through the wrought iron main gates, across a tall hedge the semi-ruined chateau overlooks the courtyard. On the opposite side of the courtyard to our current manoir stands the 17th century square chapel, now sadly in a state of disrepair, which was dedicated to Saint Meleuc, and still features the carved granite coat of arms of the family de la Motte.
Today we offer two well equipped 3 bedroomed self-catering holiday cottages, which have been tastefully and sympathetically restored to a high standard from the original granite barns attached to the manor house.
The owners, Jo and Nick Blackman, live permanently on site, and are available for help and guidance as and when needed throughout your stay.
Both gites have access to our games room, with table football, 8' pool table, darts, and outdoor table tennis table. Many of the original oak beams and stonework features have been retained. Each gite has a fully equipped dining kitchen with all mod-cons including dishwasher and washing machine, modern bathrooms and toilet, elegantly designed bedrooms, flat-screen TV with Freesat, DVD, audio system which can be synched with Bluetooth devices, free Wi-Fi, BBQ and outside seating.
